WHO WE ARE

Founded by Summer Wilson & Deanne Schweitzer. TurF active is a collection created to make waking up for your 6 am class, that much more energizing. S + D realized  that timeless yet functional essentials to go from the studio to the end of your day hadn’t quite been mastered yet. On the hunt for more use, without more ‘stuff’. Bringing you pieces that live at the top of your closet stack because you love to live in them, that much. 

Our big bang? TurF, Kitsilano. Founded in 2017, years of hard sweats, seriously strong coffee, and building community sparked TurF active co-founders, to create for the studio goer. The ones whose plans are booked as far out as their classes.

Leaning into shared decades of industry experience (from the founding days of lululemon, to Kit & Ace and beyond) coupled with ongoing daily sweats together, the gap was easy to spot. 

So now… to you. When your clothing becomes the tool to living enormously, what will you get up to?

Every piece has been put through the paces, pulses and studio dance parties by the 8 classes/day, waitlisted instructors. We knew that if these pieces could move effortlessly through their back-to-back studio sweats, coffee line chats in and laps around the city - we made something worth sharing.
